COPPER ALLOY

Copper is a medium strength, non-magnetic metal. It has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity properties and has a comparatively low cost. There are an extensive range of copper product types includes a variety of copper alloys which have a high level of corrosion resistance that makes them ideal for the production of everything from valves and pipe fittings to architectural extrusions. In its purest form it is soft and malleable, but the introduction of alloying elements provides many industrial and commercial uses. Copper alloys are metal alloys that have copper as their principal component. There are as many as 400 different copper and copper-alloy compositions loosely grouped into the categories: copper, high copper alloy, brasses, bronzes, copper nickels, copper–nickel–zinc (nickel silver), leaded copper, and special alloys.
