Alloy 20
ALLOY 20
Alloy 20 is a nickel-iron-chromium based austenitic super alloy with additions of Copper and Molybdenum. This provides excellent corrosion resistance to several different variables. Such As, hostile environments, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Proven to be useful the oil and gas, food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries to name a few. Application of the alloy could result in exceptional cost savings when carefully compared to other more expensive alloys. Determine if the desired resistance is obtained in the chosen applications and environment and are limited to a maximum temperature of 1000°F per ASME.
